Nominations are being sort for the Australian Half Marathon Championships, being held in conjunction with the Gold Coast Marathon – 5^th July 2025.

The 2025 Australian Half is open to all athletes who are registered with an Athletics Australia-affiliated club and meet the Athletics Australia rules for National competition.

Open to Senior and Rec Running Athletes

Each State and Territory Member Association can select up to six male and six female representatives with the top three finishers in each team scoring points towards their state team result. Qualifying times must be able to be verified.

NB: All athletes must meet the necessary qualification standard to be selected for this Championship.   

The qualification period for the Half Marathon started on the 13th August 2024 (the date of the 2024 Half Marathon Championships).

·         Women: 1:30.00            Men: 1:20.00
