Masters athletics is a life style requiring discipline to do regular exercise, technique training and good nutrition. However the beauty of masters athletics is that it doesn’t matter if you miss a training session as it’s not the end of the world or that you will miss team selections. And it’s really interesting challenging your body to master new movement patterns for different events, doing gym work to maintain or increase power and meeting new people.

DARWIN For cross country , distancing and middle distance running  contact Klaus Roth . Throws are practised every Sunday and Wednesday with the Mad Frogs and for this contact Lyn Guelfi Cameron Burrows helps them with their throws coaching and his email is . For sprints and jumps come down the Marrara  track on a Monday and or Wednesday around 5 but first email Ian Heazlewood who also does throws or Steve Mcgugan who covers sprints, hurdles and High jumps.
