Board Appointments

Author: Monica Bugno/Friday, 24 November 2017/Categories: News

Firstly, the Planning Day, AGM and Award Dinner were a huge success. We were very fortunate to have Darren Gocher, CEO of Athletics Australia and Adam Bishop, CEO of Athletics SA, whom both assisted us with the entire day. Adam shared with us the “One Sport” philosophy and what SA is doing to build on it. Darren also provided us with much insight and inspiration. Thank you to both Adam & Darren for joining us in Darwin. And thank you to Darwin Airport Resort for helping our event be great.
Our AGM welcomed a new board consisting of some old and new members. Welcome back Kevin Mulvahil, Kylie Taylor, Emma Kraft and Brad White and welcome previous board member from 2015 Steve McGugan and our newest members James Sheridan and Rachel Telford.
In short, James’ experience is in governance, risk management, leadership and organisational culture as well as a general background in sport, recreation and venue management.

Rachel Telford’s experience is also warmly welcomed with her passion for sport, being the previous manager for the Arafura Games and her vast experience in Tourism.

The AGM Documents can be accessed HERE.
