Pre-Registration for Commonwealth Games Volunteers

Author: Monica Bugno/Sunday, 13 March 2016/Categories: News, 2016

With a little more than two years to go (keep an eye out for celebrations) until the Opening Ceremony of the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games (GC2018), the Volunteer Program team is steadily building and the strategy that will drive the program is taking shape.

As you may be aware, you can pre-register for the GC2018 Volunteer Program; in doing so, you will be among the first to know when the program will launch and, in turn, when the full registration process will open.

GOLDOC will require the energy, enthusiasm and friendliness of up to15,000 volunteers to help deliver a great Games in 2018 so please don’t hesitate to direct your family and friends to the pre-registration form should they wish to Share the Dream and express their interest in volunteering for the Games too.

A reminder though, that pre-registration is not registration for the GC2018 Volunteer Program. Anyone who has pre-registered will be required to complete the full registration process once the program has officially launched.

In 2018, the Commonwealth Games will be the largest sporting event Australia will see this decade and the biggest sporting spectacular the Gold Coast has ever seen. The Gold Coast will welcome 6,500 athletes and team officials and visitors from all over the world, with open arms and warm hearts.
